Initial H-1B visa registration period begins on March 7

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that the H-1B visa registration process will begin on March 7, 2025, and will remain open until noon (EST) on March 24, 2025.

What you need to know?

  • Online Registration: Easy and quick through your USCIS online account.
  • Registration fee: $215 for each beneficiary registered.
  • Organizational Account: If you are an employer, make sure it is set up to manage registrations efficiently.
  • Deadline: You don’t have to register on the first day, but don’t leave it until the last minute.

Updates for the 2026 Process:

  • Legal assistants will be able to work with multiple legal representatives.
  • Prefilled forms for greater efficiency.
  • Data import from spreadsheets for bulk registrations.

Important! Temporary increase in credit card transaction limit to $99,999.99 per day.

Only a select number of registrants will be able to submit a formal H-1B visa petition.
