The TN visa is initially granted for up to 3 years and can be renewed indefinitely in increments of 3 years, as long as you continue to meet the requirements.

How do I renew my TN visa without leaving the United States?

You can apply for the renewal of your TN visa by having your employer submit Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, before your current status expires.

Can dependents with a TD visa work in the U.S.?

No, dependents with a TD visa cannot work, but they are allowed to study in the United States without needing to obtain a student (F-1) visa.
